Overnight Locations
At each of our overnight locations we have indoor and outdoor camping. We had to get creative this year since not all of our locations have a school or we don’t have access to the school. Indoor camping at the Flaming Gorge Resort is in large wedding-style tents. At Farson, indoor campers are in the community center. Outdoor campers will be literally on the open prairie – be sure to bring a comfy mattress. School facilities are available at Mountain View and Kemmerer. If you plan to stay in a motel, you need to get to your lodging on your own. It is possible to bring a small rucksack that you can fill with your overnight gear and leave the remainder in your duffle where it will stay in the luggage truck overnight.
For outdoor camping, we are provided an open area, such as a football field, for use. Outdoor campers will need a tent, preferably a small one. If possible, get one that is self-standing so there’s no risk of putting a stake through a sprinkler system that is buried in the lawn.
We will gather on July 16 at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs. We have indoor and outdoor camping at the school. See the aerial map below on where to come at the college to check-in.
Next morning our breakfast is being served in the dining hall at the college. Long term parking is in a lot on the west side of the campus.

We will be staying for two nights at Flaming Gorge Resort.
Our indoor camping is in two wedding-style tents since the site lacks a large indoor facility. These tents have walls and will provide protection from the elements.
Our shower facilities will be in motel rooms that we rent for that purpose.
