Tour de Wyoming

DSCF3953Getting There

Plan to come to Cheyenne on Saturday, July 15. We have arranged indoor and outdoor camping that night at East High School.

Check-in will begin by 4 p.m. and continue until 7 p.m. when the MANDATORY orientation gathering will begin. All riders and volunteers are required to attend the meeting. We will have an initial information meeting for all riders, followed by a more in-depth information meeting for new Tour de Wyoming riders and any veterans who choose to participate.  Volunteers will also meet after the general participant meeting.

Shipping Your Bike

Ship your bike to the following but make direct arrangements with them beforehand.

Rock on Wheels
900 E. Lincolnway
Cheyenne, WY 82001

Airport Shuttle

If you fly into Cheyenne and need a ride to our gathering point, contact Planning Committee  member Keith Koenig (klmkoenigwyo@gmail.com) to arrange assistance. We assist ONLY in Cheyenne.

Shuttle from Denver International Airport

A good option if you fly into DIA is to take the Green Ride, a van service, that transports to and from Cheyenne directly to the airport.  Since the ride is cheaper if people go together, if you want to coordinate with other Tour riders, contact the Tour Director.  Those making contact will be given the emails of others who have also made contact for this purpose.

Long-Term Parking

We will have long-term parking at East High School in Cheyenne.  You can leave your vehicles there for the duration of the ride.  We will also find appropriate storage for any bringing bike shipping boxes.
